Dave Scammurah - Goaltending Coach

Goaltending Coach

Dave has over 15 years’ goaltending experience playing at the AAA Rep level through to Major Junior. A life threatening injury unfortunately forced Dave to end his career in 2007.

Despite this major setback, he turned his passion for the sport hockey towards training goaltenders to expand their skillset and improve their career prospects.

Dave has since gone on to create a unique modern goaltending teaching system, which has helped hundreds of goalies get to the next level and beyond.

His system is designed to create highly skilled, mentally tough goaltenders — qualities highly prized in the modern game.

Dave takes a hands on, personal approach to teaching so goaltenders get the very best instruction and skill training. He enjoys imparting his knowledge to developing goalies so they can reach their maximum hockey and career potential.

Dave was drafted in the 6th Round by the Ottawa 67’s at the 2005 OHL Entry Draft. Over 2005 and 2006 he played with the Ottawa 67’s – OHL; Gatineau Olympiques – QMJHL, as well as the Oakville Blades of the OJHL (Western Conference Champions).

Before his retirement in 2007 he also played with the Kingston Frontenacs – OHL; Niagara Falls Canucks – OJHL (GHL Finalists; Dave won won Best Save Percentage and Goals Against Average). He was the Starting Goalie for 06/07 GHL All Star Game.
